Afterplay is becoming an offline-first app.

This will allow users to play without an internet connection and have their changes synced when they next come online. It's a highly requested feature

This will be great for travelling on aeroplanes and underground transport. It will also make the general experience much snappier. 

Here is a demo of the speed improvements. I'm going to get rid of touch to start and just have the game start when opened. I will add an option to start a game in "Safe Mode" where no saves or configs will be loaded which is why the touch to start is currently there.

This may take a few weeks to implement but I will post the progress as it happens :)
