Controller Mode

Pick up a controller and drive Afterplay from the couch. Controller Mode turns your library, settings, and in-game menus into a fully navigable, TV-friendly experience, no keyboard or mouse needed.

What's new

  • Navigate with a controller — move through your library, game pages, settings, and menus using the D-pad or stick, with a focus highlight that lights up wherever you are
  • Shoulder-button tabs — flick between sections with the LB/RB bumpers
  • On-screen button hints — a live input legend shows which buttons do what
  • Context menus on a button — open a game's or save's menu without leaving Controller Mode
  • Sign in from your TV — pair your account through a TV-friendly sign-in flow
  • Make it yours — remap the confirm, back, and menu buttons, and set your own button combos
  • Easy exit — hold a button to drop back out of Controller Mode anytime
