Hey everyone,
I’m super excited to share that Afterplay now supports shaders across all consoles! We've got almost 20 shaders available, so there's plenty to choose from to enhance your gaming experience.
Here’s a quick rundown of the shader categories:
Interpolation: These shaders smooth out the visuals, reducing pixelation.
CRT: For those who love the classic feel, CRT shaders add scanlines and other effects to mimic the look of old-school CRT monitors. Many games' graphics were even designed with the CRT effect in mind, so these shaders can make them look as they were originally intended.
Handheld: If you’re nostalgic for the days of handheld gaming, these shaders replicate the unique screens of vintage handheld consoles.
My personal favorite is Simpletex. It's almost like playing games on luxury textured paper with a fine pixel grid. It works really well with games that have light backgrounds, like a lot of GB games.
