Go back in time to undo mistakes.
How It Works
Made a mistake? Just rewind. Go back seconds or minutes to undo deaths, missed jumps, or bad decisions.
Configuration
Rewind is disabled by default to preserve performance. To enable it:
- Open the Game Menu while playing
- Go to Config tab
- Toggle Rewind Support on
Performance Note Rewind can cause a performance hit and use more battery. The emulator continuously records gameplay state, which requires additional processing power and memory.
Restrictions
Hardcore Mode
Rewind is automatically disabled when playing in Hardcore Mode. This ensures achievement integrity by preventing players from using rewind to earn achievements.
Core Support
Most emulator cores support rewind, but some do not. If you don't see the Rewind Support option in the Config tab, the current emulator core doesn't support this feature. DS and N64 cores do not support rewind.
Use Cases
- Deaths - Undo that game over
- Missed Jumps - Retry tricky platforming sections
- Bad Decisions - Take back dialogue choices or battle moves
- Exploration - Go back after hitting a dead end
How to Use
Hold the Rewind button on the touch controls or your configured hotkey to scrub backwards through gameplay. Release when you've reached the point you want to resume from.
The game continuously records your gameplay so you can always go back.
