Each emulator core has its own set of options that control how games are emulated. Core Options gives you access to these settings so you can customize the experience.
Accessing Core Options

- Go to Core Options
Settings Scope
Core options can be configured at two levels:
- Platform - Applies to all games on this platform using this core
- Game - Override settings for just this game
Use the toggle at the top to switch between platform-wide and game-specific settings.

Options vary by core, but common settings include:
- Color Correction - Adjust colors to match original hardware
- Frameskip - Skip frames to improve performance
- Audio Latency - Trade latency for smoother audio
- Region - Force NTSC or PAL timing

Restart Required
Some options require the core to restart before taking effect. The interface indicates which options need a restart and prompts you when necessary.
