Getting Started

Welcome to Afterplay! This guide will help you get up and running.

1. Create an Account

Visit afterplay.io and sign up with:

• Google
• Apple
• Email

Your account syncs saves and settings across all your devices.

2. Choose Your Platform

Afterplay runs on:

• Web - Play instantly at afterplay.io
• iOS - Download from the App Store
• Android - Download from Google Play
• macOS / Windows / Linux - Download the desktop app

All platforms share the same account and saves.

3. Add Your Games

1. Go to your Library
2. Click Add Games
3. Select ROM files from your device
4. Games are uploaded and organized automatically

Afterplay detects the console and adds cover art when available.

4. Start Playing

Click any game to launch it. The emulator loads automatically based on the console.

Basic Controls

• Touch - On-screen buttons appear on mobile
• Keyboard - Arrow keys + Z/X/A/S for buttons
• Gamepad - Plug in any controller

5. Explore Features

Now that you're playing, check out:

• Save States - Save anywhere, sync across devices
• Fast Forward - Speed through slow sections
• Rewind - Undo mistakes instantly
• Cheats - Built-in cheat database
